Just having someone to hold space for me and listen as I organized my thoughts was life-changing. Betsy has a gentle way of being that I found to be just what I needed, as I processed my life’s issues. I so enjoyed the possibility to share authentically in every session, I had no question that what I said was held in a safe space. I never felt that I was oversharing. It was so nice “to feel seen and heard” for the hours we spent together. My meditation practice has directly benefited from my time with Betsy, and it's been fun and effective to check in and to have accountability. I loved being coached by Betsy weekly because I felt like I could see incremental changes in me and my thinking week by week. This safe space was paramount to me seeing that I am stronger and more capable than I know. I found Betsy’s approach to meditation very refreshing. I learned new techniques to aid my practice. I always left the sessions with new insights and valuable skills that I use pretty much every day. I'd had covid-19. I gained a lot of weight and I was in a depression spiral brought on by work and the pandemic. I deeply appreciated the attention to detail to the events that shaped my less than healthy food decisions. She helped me get to the core of what triggered decisions that were detrimental to my well being. I appreciated her professionalism and knowledge. I also really appreciated her introducing me to the Headspace App. It has helped me center myself. I've been making healthier food choices. I'm getting more sleep. Though I have a better idea of how to center and calm, I don't always do it, but I know how. I appreciate her work with me to develop those skills. I've come to recognize that my situation is not as hopeless as I thought it was. I'm capable of making better choices. I can set a goal and see my way toward achieving it.

Before working with Betsy I was struggling with my emotional well being surrounding parenting and general anxiety. I also had concerns about nutrition for my children and parents. Betsy helped me by giving me a safe space to explore my feelings and set goals to improve my behavior and confidence. She also researched nutritional needs for different ages and health conditions to help me improve my family's health.

The biggest value I received was the help she gave me in developing my awareness...
Betsy is very easy to talk to and it was nice to weave in different topics into our discussions. Betsy had a number of good suggestions for resources to help with meditation, exercise, nutritional knowledge. It was nice that she had had experience with what she recommended. The biggest value I received was the help she gave me in developing my awareness of what I was doing that was positive and what I could do to make some improvements.
Increased awareness, gave me more intention, exposed me to resources that I was not familiar with, helped me with accepting what I am doing without beating myself up about what I am not doing.
I think the resources that Betsy introduced to me will be the pathway to greater insights and learning. I think I have to do that on my own. I think the coaching was as it should be – set me in the right direction and develop the tools to be able to move in that direction on my own.
I recommend her to anyone who is interested in their health and wants to add mindfulness and a more holistic approach to maintaining their well-being – mind and body.

Since leaving a difficult marriage, I have been going through a transition and transformation toward a new life and self. My children are now both (recently) out of the nest and I thought coaching might be useful to clarify my goals and give me the tools that would help support me in this new stage of life.
Betsy was easy to talk with and I felt very safe opening up to her. She was a good listener and her suggestions were practical and doable. She emphasized the importance of living in a more purposeful way: visualizing goals and then forming the habits that will lead you to them. By breaking things down into daily goals with weekly check-ins I felt supported and guided through the process, and consequently found myself more productive and happy.
One of the most meaningful sessions was when we did a guided meditation. It took me through many stages, including making peace with my past and visualizing what I wanted for my future. I ended up being surprised that my future visualization was different than what I thought I had wanted. The session made me realize the power of visualization and meditation to reconnect with my inner self, reground, and reassess my goals. It gave me a renewed desire to incorporate meditation into my daily routine.
Betsy emphasized and re-emphasized the importance of habits like morning visualization and daily goal setting, exercise, making lists, and meditation. Her mantra of living life in a purposeful way, and with daily habits that lead you to your big goals was simple, yet inspiring. She even used examples from her own life to show that it could be done. She sent a weekly goals checklist after our sessions along with multiple links to resources that could help in reaching individual goals, giving me additional tools to continue on my own.
I felt like what Betsy did for me was extraordinary and yet also not, in that what she did is something I can now do for myself, in large part thanks to the tools and philosophy she shared. I would wholeheartedly recommend Betsy.

Before I started working with Betsy I had relapsed on drugs, had lost my sense of spirituality, and was very physically unhealthy with no plan on how to change these things. Betsy listened to me carefully and then provided me with practical ideas for making positive changes in my life as well sharing exercises both physical and mental that helped me to begin my journey towards healing.
My experience with Betsy was very positive. The thing I liked most about our coaching relationship was the humor and sense of fun she brought to our sessions which made me feel like I was dealing with a friend instead of a professional.
A benefit I achieved from working with Betsy was beginning an exercise routine, and actually losing weight by the end of our time together. Betsy also helped me get through some spiritual blockages I was suffering from at the time.

Working with a coach was a new experience for me, but Betsy made it feel so natural and easy. Her warmth and excellent listening skills together with her ability to "echo" back what I said in her own words made me feel heard and understood in a really new way.

She was kind and empathetic but not unwilling to bring forward new ideas and questions to challenge my status quo and complancency. My thinking had fallen into such a rut in my own mind and working with Betsy really helped lift it out onto a new track.
The specific challenges I brought to our sessions revolved around finances, household management, and communication with my spouse. I came away from sessions with Betsy with specific tangible tasks, goals, and ideas on how to address those problem areas in my life and with a sense of having been guided by a caring, wise, friend.
I have always said, "I can handle this problem on my own" or "things will get better on their own eventually" thinking made me independent, strong and optimistic but now realize the folly of such thinking. Why struggle alone when expert help is available. Anyone with problems or challenging issues in their life (i.e. everyone) could benefit from Betsy's coaching and would enjoy the process very much!
